Tasks ### • Technical support for process, procedure, mechanics, and automation-related activities in the production environment • Development, testing, and optimization of process flow diagrams (PFDs) as well as technical documentation • Support in the design, specification, selection, and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems • Management and maintenance of Master Equipment and Instrument Lists (MSRLs) as well as the associated technical documentation • Performance of process engineering calculations, including pump design, hydraulic assessments, and pressure loss calculations • Collaboration with interdisciplinary engineering teams to improve process reliability, efficiency, and operational performance • Participation in activities for process safety, risk assessments, and implementation of safety standards • Support in error analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement within the production environment • Ensuring compliance with technical standards, site-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory specifications • Participation in project execution from planning through commissioning to handover to operations Profile ### • Completed studies in the field of engineering or a related subject area • Professional experience in the process industry, chemical, food, pharmaceutical industry, or comparable sectors • Proven expertise in the field of process engineering and industrial production environments • Experience with spray drying technologies is a great advantage • Sound knowledge of reactors, piping systems, and mechanical process plants • Practical experience with automation, instrumentation, and control systems • Experience in the selection, specification, and commissioning of instrumentation • Experience in the creation and maintenance of MSRLs as well as technical documentation • Sound understanding of process safety principles, including PL/SIL concepts • Ability for pump design as well as for performing hydraulic calculations and pressure loss analyses • Experience in the creation and review of process flow diagrams (PFDs) • Business fluent German and English skills; German is mandatory Benefits ### • A strategic role at the center of diverse and technically demanding projects • A dedicated, collegial, and professional environment • A working environment that promotes individual responsibility and accountability
