Marketing & Sales Development Executive (80–100 %)

For our Swiss team, we are looking for a Marketing & Sales Development Executive who enjoys connecting people, technology, marketing, and sales. The position is particularly suitable for individuals at the beginning of their professional career who think entrepreneurially, are interested in science and technology, and enjoy communicating with people. You do not need to be an engineer or a simulation expert. What is important is curiosity, technical understanding, and the ability to competently advance conversations with potential customers. Your task: You will work at the interface of marketing and technical sales and closely with our Technical Sales Team. You will help us reach relevant target groups with effective campaigns and develop interested contacts into qualified business opportunities. Your tasks include: * Researching target groups: Identifying companies, organizations, and relevant contact persons * Implementing campaigns: Coordinating marketing activities from the target group list through content and launch to follow-up * Engaging leads: Looking after interested contacts via email and telephone -- no cold calling * Qualifying business opportunities: Understanding interests and needs and recognizing when our technical experts should be involved * Working structurally: Using CRM, marketing, and project management tools and consistently following up on campaigns * Coordinating press activities: Working with print and online media partners and tracking campaign performance * Meeting customers in person: Supporting our team at trade fairs, workshops, and other events approximately once a month * With increasing experience, you will take on more responsibility for campaign planning, new target groups, and business development. What you bring: Above all, you enjoy communicating -- and can listen just as well. You feel comfortable picking up the phone, writing a good email, approaching people at events, and working with technically savvy colleagues. Furthermore, you bring: * German or French at native level and very good knowledge of the other language; Swiss German/French would be ideal * Good professional English skills * A commercial/business administration background with an interest in technology or a BSc in engineering or natural sciences with an interest in marketing and sales * Education in Switzerland or at least three years of professional experience in Switzerland * Organizational talent, accuracy, and confident handling of digital tools * Curiosity and sufficient technical understanding to grasp technical or scientific issues in principle * Team spirit and joy in learning new things * Experience in sales, customer contact, marketing, or business development is an advantage, but not a requirement.
