Gastrag AG has owned restaurants, pubs, and hotels in Switzerland since 1968. It specializes in the long-term management of concept gastronomy establishments and employs around 300 employees. For our centrally located Hotel California in Zürich, we are looking for a committed personality as a Receptionist on an hourly basis (m/f/d) You are the first point of contact for our guests and ensure with your warm and professional manner that they feel welcome from the very first moment. You are responsible for: • Warm welcome and professional care of our guests • Carrying out check-ins and check-outs • Processing reservations, inquiries, and guest correspondence • Providing personal, telephone, and written information • Receiving and processing guest requests and complaints • Secure handling of the cash register as well as creation of invoices and daily closures • Coordination and cooperation with the various departments • Completion of general administrative tasks • Ensuring cleanliness and order in the reception area Your profile: • Experience at a hotel reception or in a comparable position • Completed training in the hotel industry or in the commercial sector is an advantage • Strong host personality and enjoyment of guest contact • Very good German and English skills, other languages are an advantage • Confident use of the computer; experience with hotel software is an advantage • Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working • Willingness to work flexible hours as well as on weekends and public holidays • Well-groomed appearance, positive charisma, and good manners • Ability to work in a team, resilience, and a strong sense of quality We offer: • A varied and exciting working environment • A young, cheerful team • Internal training In our gastronomy company operating throughout Switzerland, we value personal and uncomplicated contact with all our employees.
