Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed every day to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Coordination, organization and planning of the outpatient treatment of patients of the Departement für Viszeral- und Transplantationschirurgie. This includes accompanying consultations, initiating prescriptions as well as organizing referrals to rehabilitation clinics and external hospitals • Primary contact person within the clinic and the area of responsibility (team) for patients, relatives, internal and external referrers as well as internal and external service providers (radiology institutes, laboratory institutes etc.) • Planning, coordination and registration of examinations through USZ-internal and external services (radiology, laboratory etc.) • Obtaining relevant information from family doctors, hospitals etc. • Planning of a surgical intervention or inpatient stay in cooperation with the inpatient disposition • Support with cost securing incl. self-payers and international patients Your profile • Training as a nursing professional HF/FH with professional experience - ideally in the field of visceral surgery • Knowledge of the Swiss health and billing system • Further training in Case Management or similar is an advantage • Good oral and written German and English skills, other foreign languages are an advantage • Organizational skills • Ability to approach complex situations in a solution-oriented manner • Proficient in MS-Office applications Our benefits We look forward to your application Claudine Schweizer Recruiting About the USZ The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
