Your job – responsibility at eye level

Do you master air freight in import and export and do not want to simply process tasks, but rather independently control, decide, and take responsibility?

With us, you will take over the independent processing of air freight shipments from A–Z and, as an allrounder, contribute to other areas of the freight forwarding company. Knowledge in sea freight is an advantage.

You can expect an operational environment with short decision-making paths, direct communication, and a lot of personal responsibility.

Your tasks

• Independent processing of air freight import and export shipments from A–Z
• Organization, coordination, and monitoring of international shipments
• Creation, checking, and processing of transport, import, export, and customs documents
• Communication with airlines, handling agents, customs authorities, customers, and international partners
• Deadline monitoring as well as proactive problem solving in case of deviations
• Billing and cost control
• Organization and coordination of vehicles in the air freight area
• Organization of collections and deliveries of air freight shipments
• Taking on on-call and shift duties
• Support in sea freight processes is an advantage

Your profile

Technical requirements – mandatory

• Completed training in the field of freight forwarding / logistics
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a freight forwarding company after completion of training
• Very good knowledge in air freight import and export
• Confident handling of freight forwarding software and MS Office
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Good English skills in speaking and writing

Advantageous

• Knowledge and experience in sea freight
• Experience as an allrounder in several freight forwarding areas
