Specialist in Childcare, Tagesschule Apfelbaum, 60 %

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Specialist in Childcare in the Apfelbaum childcare facility, to start immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You support the childcare teams with your pedagogical expertise in everyday life and keep a cool head even in challenging situations
• You work a workload of 60% on four days per week. The assignments are in a childcare facility outside the school grounds of the Tagesschule Apfelbaum
• You work predominantly with kindergarten and individual primary school children (up to 6th grade) and accompany them during regular operations, holiday care, as well as care on school-free days

Profile ##

• Completion of EFZ Fachperson Betreuung (for applications with a foreign diploma / specialist certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached)
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Joy in dealing with people of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation within the school team
• Professional experience in family-complementary childcare is an advantage

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

Included in the Schule Apfelbaum are a morning care service and four lunch / evening care services. In these childcare premises, a total of around 470 students from kindergarten to middle school age are fed and cared for. The opening hours of the lunch and evening care services are from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00.
