The professional nursing and care of our patients in our Cardiology & Heart Surgery department is a matter close to our hearts. An exciting patient clientele awaits you, who primarily undergo our treatment for interventional diagnostics and therapy. In this department, we train both FH/HF nursing students as well as apprentices for Healthcare Specialists. To strengthen the department's vocational training team, we are looking for a committed and motivated personality. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees commit themselves daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Together with your department's vocational training team, consisting of a FaGe vocational trainer and vocational trainer, you take responsibility for the vocational training of our apprentices and students • Within the framework of learning and working groups (LAG), you work together with the trainees at the patient's bedside • You are the contact person for the department for questions regarding vocational training and empower your team to fulfill the training mandate • In this function, there is the possibility to become a member of the department's Shared Governance leadership team What distinguishes you? • You are a certified nursing specialist HF / FH and possess at least one year of professional experience in an acute care hospital • You have pedagogical further training (SVEB 1), or bring the willingness to complete this with us • You speak the language of Generation Z and know how to motivate trainees and inspire them for the field of expertise.
