Abacus Support Specialist (a)

Our client is an established Swiss IT and consulting company that supports companies in the digitalization and optimization of their business processes with modern ERP solutions. Abacus plays a central role in this, particularly in the mapping and further development of financial processes. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a service-oriented personality who wants to combine business informatics, finance, and IT and enjoys developing professionally and technically in the Abacus environment.

Your challenge

In this versatile role, you are an important point of contact for customers regarding technical and functional questions related to Abacus. Your focus is on the financial applications and the associated business processes:

• Processing and analysis of support requests related to Abacus
• Supporting users in the areas of financial accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and e-banking
• Analysis of booking and process workflows
• Advising customers on functional and application-related questions
• Developing sustainable solutions and documenting solution paths
• Collaboration with internal Abacus specialists and passing on knowledge within the team
• Depending on experience and interest, involvement in the optimization and further development of Abacus processes

Your qualities and talents

• Completed degree in business informatics (HF/FH/Uni) or a comparable higher education
• User experience with Abacus or comparable ERP/business software
• Good understanding of finance and accounting as well as corresponding business processes
• Initial experience in ERP/application support, consulting, fiduciary, or finance environments is an advantage
• Strong IT affinity and enjoyment in getting to the bottom of complex questions
• Customer- and service-oriented personality with good communication skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
