The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees work daily for the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks Fire protection: • Contact person for questions regarding operational fire protection • Monitoring compliance with laws, regulations and instructions; identifying weaknesses and suggesting measures for rectification • Conducting fire protection control rounds in all buildings including documentation • Accompanying fire police inspections and arranging for the rectification of deficiencies • Administration and implementation of fire extinguishing courses to train staff on behavior in the event of a fire • Taking on further fire protection tasks in consultation with the SiBe fire protection team • Support during emergency exercises • Close cooperation with the client representative for fire protection and the specialist responsible for technical fire protection   Fire brigade: • Management member of the company fire brigade • Material warden of the fire brigade depot Your profile • Completed EFZ training or equivalent • Safety Officer for fire protection with certificate • Further training in fire protection is an advantage • Several years of professional experience in fire protection as well as sound knowledge of the VKF guideline • Experience with periodic inspections is an advantage • Firefighting experience and willingness to participate in the company fire brigade • Management experience in a fire brigade is an advantage • Responsible, strong-negotiating personality with the ability to quickly grasp complex contexts in a networked environment and to act as a link between internal and external stakeholders • Strong organizational skills as well as a structured and independent way of working • Team player and service-oriented personality with a high understanding of quality, good communication skills and assertiveness • Good oral and written expression in German, English skills are an advantage Our benefits We look forward to your application Stephanie Indlekofer Recruiting About the USZ Das Universitätsspital Zürich ist eines der grössten Spitäler in der Schweiz.
