Asset Manager: Central Region

As part of the portfolio management of Post Immobilien, Asset Management is responsible for the strategic support and development of a total of around 600 Post-owned properties. We ensure that existing value enhancement and development potentials are identified and developed, and that the interests of the Post as the property owner are perceived with ownership and market understanding. For the Central region, we are looking for an experienced Asset Manager with a clear eye for the forward-looking and sustainable development of real estate.

With you, we will continue to develop the real estate portfolio of the Post in a future-oriented manner and translate owner objectives into concrete portfolio and property decisions.

What you can achieve

• You independently and proactively manage and lead a differentiated portfolio with various uses of around 150-200 properties in the Central region - from existing properties to operational objects to yield and development objects - and take on the economic and strategic responsibility for them.
• Together with the relevant stakeholders, you develop property and asset strategies, derive business plans from them, and implement them in a targeted and market-oriented manner in accordance with owner specifications.
• In this role, you initiate, accompany, and control renovation, new construction, repositioning, as well as development projects, and simultaneously ensure the multi-year investment planning and the budget process with a focus on yield and sustainable development.
• You manage internal and external partners such as property management, planners, marketers, and other specialists, and ensure an economic, quality-oriented, and goal-oriented implementation.
• You represent the owner interests of the Post towards internal and external stakeholders and prepare sound decision-making bases for management and the corresponding committees.
• You analyze the performance of your objects, create profitability calculations and estimates, derive optimization potentials, and ensure the implementation of the defined yield and development goals in your region.

What you bring with you

• You have a completed university or technical college degree in architecture, business, or real estate management, as well as relevant several years of professional experience. Further training in real estate management, for example a MAS in Real Estate or a qualification as an Immobilientreuhänder:in, is desired.
• You bring several years of experience in the asset management of a demanding real estate portfolio - ideally in an institutional, corporate, or comparably complex environment. Additionally, you have a strong understanding of profitability, market mechanisms, as well as strategic and real estate management contexts.
• You work independently, proactively, and solution-oriented, take on responsibility, and also act confidently and assertively in the face of complex issues and different stakeholders.
• Your strong strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset enables you to develop asset and portfolio strategies in a forward-looking manner and to process complex issues in a structured way.
• You succeed in translating owner interests, market requirements, and usage needs into sustainable and economically viable solutions and positioning them appropriately towards internal and external stakeholders.
• You communicate very well orally and in writing in a first national language and have good knowledge of a second national language.
