Terms of Service

What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of jobszurich.ch, run by its operator, referred to below as “we”. They apply to everyone who uses the site, whether reading or submitting content. By using jobszurich.ch you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Questions about these terms go through the contact form.
The service
jobszurich.ch is a free job board. Employers and recruiters post openings, and anyone can read them and apply directly with the poster. Some postings are collected from public job sources and link back to where they came from.
We are not a party to any application, interview or employment contract, and we do not vet employers beyond the review described below.
Content you submit
You keep the rights to what you submit. By submitting it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, translate, reformat, display and distribute it on jobszurich.ch and on our sister sites, including in feeds, search results and structured data for search engines, for as long as it is published and in our archive afterwards.
You confirm that you have the right to submit it, including any photo, logo or document, and you are responsible for its accuracy and legality. Do not submit:
- content that is misleading, fraudulent or discriminatory
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy
- personal data of other people without their consent
- malware, spam, or bulk submissions
- anything unlawful where you are or where we are
Job postings
A posting goes live only after you confirm the email address it was submitted with. Postings expire after a set period and can be withdrawn at any time through the link in the confirmation email.
Whoever posts an opening is responsible for its accuracy, including pay, location and workload, and for complying with employment and anti-discrimination law.
Review
Everything submitted is reviewed before it is published and may be reviewed again later.
We may decline or remove a submission at any time without giving a reason, and we are under no obligation to publish anything. If you think a decision was wrong, write to us through the contact form.
Email links and alerts
Managing what you posted works through links sent to the email address you used. Anyone holding such a link can act on it, so keep it to yourself.
Search alerts need a confirmed email address and can be stopped from any alert email. We send no marketing email.
Third-party content and sites
Content submitted by others and the sites we link to belong to third parties. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, offers or practices. Check anything that matters to you before relying on it; the Disclaimer says more.
Acceptable use
While using jobszurich.ch you agree not to:
- crawl or scrape at a rate that affects the service, or republish its content as a dataset
- submit content by script or in bulk, or through someone else's email address or account
- work around rate limits, the bot check or our review
- use contact details found here for anything other than their stated purpose
Our own content
The site's own text, design, grades and code are ours. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with a link back. Anything beyond that needs our permission, which you can ask for through the contact form.
No warranty
jobszurich.ch is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change or shut down any part of it at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of jobszurich.ch, from content submitted by others, or from a site we link to. That includes lost earnings, a missed deal, a failed application and lost data. Liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury stays as the law provides.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Contact
Everything about these terms, a submission, a removal or your data goes through the contact form. We answer there.
