For our client, a leading financial institution in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support a strategic and regulatory\-driven project in the area of Liquidity Risk Management.

Job description:
Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a complex IT project within Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury and Banking
Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders from Risk, Treasury, Compliance, Finance and regional business units
Ensure delivery in line with agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality standards and regulatory objectives
Manage all project phases, including planning, reporting, budget tracking, financial controlling, resource planning, forecasting, risk management and issue management
Prepare and deliver high\-quality presentations for steering committees, executive sponsors and operational project teams
Ensure compliance with internal project governance, stage\-gate processes, milestone approvals, security standards and control requirements
Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders in a global, matrix\-oriented environment
Support the smooth transition and sustainable handover of delivered solutions to Operations, including documentation and change enablement activities
Apply agile project management principles and use tools such as Jira and Confluence for backlog management, task tracking and documentation
About the customer:
In this role, you will take full ownership of the end\-to\-end delivery of a complex IT project focused on enhancing internal liquidity controls, tools and processes in line with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, Risk, Treasury, Finance, Compliance and Operations and ensure structured, transparent and governance\-compliant project execution.
Start: Immediately or by arrangement
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension

Requirements:
Several years of experience as a Senior IT Project Manager within the financial services industry, ideally in private banking, investment banking or wealth management
Proven experience managing large\-scale IT projects with change\-the\-bank budgets above CHF 1 million
Strong understanding of regulatory\-driven projects in a banking environment
Experience or strong exposure to Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury Operations, Regulatory Reporting or Risk Management
Strong project governance skills, including budget tracking, financial controlling, resource planning, reporting and milestone forecasting
Experience working in international, matrixed project environments involving Business, IT and vendor stakeholders
Solid knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI\-ACP or equivalent is an advantage
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
Structured, proactive and solution\-oriented working style with a high level of ownership
Fluent English skills are required; German language skills are an advantage
