Operational Management of the National Impulse Program for the Prevention of Violence in Old Age (80 – 100 %, fixed-term for three years)

The Federal Council has decided on a national program for the prevention of violence in old age for the years 2026 to 2030. Pro Senectute Schweiz will take over the operational management of this important project.

What you will achieve with us:

• You will operatively shape the development and implementation of the new national program
• You will coordinate the cooperation with the Federal Social Insurance Office, the National Competence Center Aging without Violence, as well as other partner organizations.
• You will plan, manage, and accompany the implementation of program activities and measures.
• You will organize and moderate working groups, specialist events, and exchange platforms.
• You will be responsible for project controlling and reporting and will coordinate the program-related communication with the responsible internal and external bodies.

What you bring with you:

• You have a university degree (university or university of applied sciences) in Social Work, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Public Management, or a comparable field.
• You bring several years of experience in the management of complex projects or programs and have been operatively responsible for these from planning to implementation.
• You are experienced in the planning and moderation of working groups, committees, and events.
• You work conceptually, in a structured manner, and result-oriented.
• You write concepts, reports, and decision-making bases with stylistic confidence.
• You have very good German skills as well as good French skills.
• Ideally, you have experience in the subject area of violence, violence prevention, victim protection, or a related field and ideally bring a corresponding professional network.
• Ideally, you have experience in working with authorities, non-profit organizations, specialist organizations, or other institutional partners.
• You are interested in socio-political, gerontological, and societal issues and are prepared to engage in depth with the challenges of violence in old age and the various settings.
