Senior System Engineer - Citrix

Your tasks

• Further development and optimization of the Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform as well as active participation in shaping the architecture and technical roadmap
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex malfunctions and performance problems in the 3rd-level support environment
• Collaboration in infrastructure and modernization projects related to the workplace and virtualization landscape
• Evaluation of new technologies, creation of technical concepts and architectures, as well as conducting proofs-of-concept
• Automation of operational and administration processes using PowerShell
• Identification of optimization potential as well as independent planning and implementation of technical improvements
• Support and further development of hybrid workplace solutions with a focus on Citrix and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Close cooperation with infrastructure, cloud, security, and workplace teams to ensure a stable and modern workplace environment
• Assumption of technical responsibility for the operation, further development, and future viability of the Citrix platform

Your profile

• Several years of practical experience in the engineering and operation of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments
• Experience with or high interest in Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Very good PowerShell knowledge at a senior level as well as experience in the automation of infrastructure and operational processes
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, and virtualization technologies
• Experience in the analysis and resolution of complex technical malfunctions in 3rd-level support
• Strong conceptual skills as well as experience in creating technical designs and solution architectures
• Structured, sustainable, and quality-oriented way of working
• Team-oriented, communicative, and hands-on personality with high initiative
• Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Citrix certifications (CCA, CCP, or CCE) are an advantage
