Information Security Specialist 100% Amt für Informatik Information Security Specialist 100% 100% The Amt für Informatik (AFI) of the Canton of Zürich is the central IT competence center of the cantonal administration. We provide the central IT infrastructure as well as cantonal-wide applications and bear the responsibility for information security across several directorates and the Staatskanzlei. To strengthen our Security Operations Center (SOC), we are looking for a committed personality in the field of IT security as of 1. October 2026 or by arrangement, who is enthusiastic about current developments in cybersecurity and enjoys actively working on modern security solutions. Your tasks Analysis, processing and triage of security incidents as well as support for the CSIRT in security-relevant events Identification, assessment and remediation of technical vulnerabilities including optimization of monitoring systems Development and further development of use cases for the detection of security incidents in the SIEM Collaboration in the baseline management of security configurations in cloud environments Operation and further development of security tools as well as consulting in cyber defense and prevention Automation and continuous optimization of processes and technical security measures (SOAR) Creation of technical documentation as well as conducting training for internal support teams Management and implementation of procurement projects according to HERMES What you bring Completed studies (FH/HF) in informatics or comparable technical training with relevant professional experience Further education in the field of IT security (e.g., CAS, MAS, CISSP or comparable) completed or in planning Experience in the security environment, especially in SOC operation, is an advantage Good knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server/Client), virtualization and cloud technologies Sound practical experience in network and system security Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working Enjoyment of exchange with different stakeholders as well as a strong customer orientation Very good German skills in speaking and writing, good English skills Willingness for on-call service We offer A motivated team awaits you in an exciting and dynamic environment in which you can take on responsibility and actively contribute to the further development of the AFI as a modern IT service provider.
