As Brand Business Owner, you will lead the digital user market team of Beobachter with a focus on digital subscriptions and other digital revenue models and, together with your team, you will be responsible for digital performance marketing. Brand Business Owner:in Beobachter (a)\* Your tasks You will take on a bridging function between editorial, product, tech, and commercial and, together with the teams, will be responsible for the prioritization of tasks surrounding Beobachter. At the same time, you are the direct contact person for the P&L lead of Beobachter in the executive management of Ringier Medien Schweiz. Together with the P&L lead, you will derive an annual strategic prioritization from the medium-term strategy and, together with the other teams, transform this into actionable and measurable initiatives. You will lead and develop a team with a focus on digital subscription and revenue growth (B2C and B2B) and ensure clear goals, prioritization, and a strong performance culture. Together with your team, you will control the entire subscription funnel – from acquisition through the paywall to customer retention – based on data and with measurable key figures. With your team, you will tap into new revenue sources such as B2B partnerships, digital services, and AI-supported offers and network Beobachter with other Ringier titles. Your profile You have a completed degree (BWL, Marketing, Wirtschaftsinformatik or similar) and bring several years of experience at the intersection of digital business development, subscription/growth topics, and brand management. You know the media industry and have a pronounced affinity for journalistic products and media business models. You have a deep understanding of the subscription business, funnel economics, pricing, and digital performance marketing – you think entrepreneurially and decide based on key figures. You bring proven leadership experience in a line role and/or in the lateral management of mixed, cross-departmental teams. You work analytically and in a structured manner and have a sure sense for strategic as well as operative prioritization in complex environments. You communicate clearly and bindingly in a level-appropriate manner on all levels – from the team to the executive management – and possess excellent German and good English skills.
