The Universitätsklinik Balgrist is one of the most renowned orthopedic clinics in Switzerland with an attached Center for Paraplegia and international recognition.

For our competent reception team, we are looking for a

starting 1 October 2026 or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Warm reception of patients, visitors and employees
• Friendly, competent provision of information and assistance
• Receipt and forwarding of all telephone calls and e-mail messages
• Answering telephone and written inquiries
• Receipt and administrative processing of patient and customer concerns
• Ordering transports (taxis etc.)
• Completion of various administrative tasks
• Collection of invoice amounts from self-payers
• Management of key cabinet, laptop allocation and lost property
• Summoning key persons according to MHB in extraordinary events
• Operation of alarm message panels, especially the fire alarm system

Your profile

• Willingness to work in shift operation (between 06:30 and 21:15) and weekends / public holidays
• Completed commercially oriented training as well as several years of professional experience (advantageously in upscale hospitality)
• Well-groomed appearance
• Positive, attentive and responsible nature
• Resilient, quick comprehension, independent and exact way of working
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Very good oral and written German skills, understanding of Swiss German as well as fluency in English and Italian are requirements; further languages are an advantage
