The Digital Investigation Services Commissariat, as a competence center, not only offers digital forensic evidence, reports, and data analysis from a single source, but also conducts its own investigations in the cyber area, is operationally active at the front, and regularly performs advisory functions. Innovation is our top priority.

The Cyber Specialist Group of the Stadtpolizei Zürich is a specialized criminal police investigation service that focuses heavily on cybercrime and related offenses, as well as partial investigations in cyberspace for the benefit of other services. To this end, the specialist group works closely with the public prosecutor's office and other internal and external police agencies.

Tasks ##

• Responsibility for the personnel, technical, administrative, and operational management of the specialist group with the two areas of Cybercrime and Digitized Crime
• Ensuring professional criminal police specialist services in the cyber area
• Cooperation and collaboration with the Kantonspolizei Zürich, the investigative authorities, and other interface partners
• Guaranteeing complex partial investigations in cyberspace in the event of crimes, preliminary investigations, or in danger prevention with investigative approaches in cyberspace
• Development of processes and solutions for complex partial investigations in cyberspace

Profile ##

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the IT field or completed police training (Federal Diploma of Higher Education Police Officer) with IT training as well as very good German and English skills; further languages are an advantage
• Experience in the criminal police field, specialist knowledge and further training in the cyber area
• Leadership experience and a strong desire to shape, empathetic, trustworthy and authentic
• Willingness to cooperate, determined and professionally competent in negotiations with external as well as internal partners
• Interest in the agile development of solutions to combat cybercrime as well as complex partial investigations in cyberspace
