Tasks

• You control and monitor the demanding plant operation in 3-shift operation via a process control system (PLS), initiate measures in the event of deviations, and maintain a production journal.
• You carry out inspection rounds and functional checks of individual plant areas, put individual subsystems or entire plant parts into or out of operation, perform plant switch-ons, and document your procedure.
• You are the first point of contact for information of any kind (alarms, malfunctions, events), handle these yourself or forward them, and request maintenance work using IH software.
• You are responsible for the receipt of operating resources and for the loading of residues from the combustion process.

Profile

• Vocational training (EFZ level) as well as further training to become a boiler operator with a federal diploma, or willingness to complete this further training with our support
• Several years of professional experience in shift operation, preferably in the field of process engineering (thermal) plants
• Experience in working with a process control system as well as good PC application skills (MS-Office)
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with our complex waste incineration plant and the different processes, as well as enjoyment of independent, self-responsible activity
