Specialist Neighborhood Coaching 20% on a mandate for 3 years The Stiftung Familienwohnungen (SFW) creates and rents affordable living space for families with at least three children. For over a century, it has thus provided a secure and child-friendly home. In the Auzelg quarter, the SFW has 142 apartments and is the largest landowner in the quarter. The Auzelg quarter is located on the northeastern edge of the city of Zürich and is determined by various infrastructure facilities such as the highway and railway line as well as landscape boundaries. In order to further develop the quarter, a development mission statement* was developed in cooperation with the owner representatives and various service departments of the city of Zürich and was passed by the City Council this spring. The development mission statement determines goals and measures for long-term quarter development. Following sound investigations by municipal authorities, network partners, and the school in the quarter, the "Neighborhood Coaching" project is now being launched, with the aim of strengthening neighborly coexistence in Auzelg. The Stiftung Familienwohnungen is taking over the project management. For this purpose, we are looking for a communicative and creative personality as a Specialist Neighborhood Coaching 20% on a mandate for 3 years starting 1. September 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks Contact point for neighborly coexistence (presence times) Activation and support of tenant initiatives (e.g., women's meeting) Co-creation of offers (education, leisure, neighborhood help, security) according to the ideas and needs of the residents Activation and promotion of social interactions: building relationships between residents; creating trust and networks Involvement of children and timely implementation of ideas Information about offers in the surrounding area around Auzelg. Assessing possibilities of how information reaches residents (chat, flyers, emails, etc.) Networking work with actors in the vicinity (school, community centers, OJA, etc.) and use of synergies. Jointly developing needs-based offers and participation formats Reviewing and implementing city offers (e.g., in cooperation with the specialist office for addiction prevention, delegated neighborhood security, Office for Social Space and City Life BSS, etc.) Planning and implementation of a neighborhood festival as a community event with a planning organizing committee consisting of residents and actors in the quarter (OJA, QV Schwamendingen, school, SFW social workers) Organization of welcome events for new residents Participation in the committees that created the development mission statement Preparation of annual interim reports and final report You bring with you Degree in Social Work, Sociocultural Animation, Community Work, or a comparable field of study Experience in residential and settlement support/settlement coaching Experience in leading participatory processes and community building Confident oral and written German skills Enjoyment of working with people with a migration background Interest in intergenerational work Flexibility, independent way of working Willingness for occasional work in the evening and on weekends We offer Independent work Flexible work assignments Regular exchange and cooperation with the SFW social worker Interesting and innovative work with high possibilities for participation Office space in Auzelg Interested?
