ICT Administrator Server Infrastructure, initially fixed-term for 2 years 80 - 100%

EB Zürich, Cantonal School for Vocational Training, is an innovative service provider for vocational training. For the Canton of Zürich, companies, and organizations, it designs educational offerings with the goal of preparing employees for the changing requirements of the labor market.

As of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed computer scientist for our IT services. The IT services operate and further develop the ICT infrastructure of EB Zürich for administration and education. The position combines classic server and system technology with modern cloud, identity, and endpoint management tasks.

Your tasks

• You operate and further develop the servers and platform services, in particular Windows Server, Microsoft 365
• You plan and supervise deployment, as well as software and device management with Microsoft Configuration Manager
• You maintain the directory services (Active Directory and Group Policies and maintain the mail services)
• You are responsible for the maintenance of the system documentation and the support website
• You train employees on application supplements or for new hires
• You support the educational sectors in the development of ICT concepts
• You are responsible for the entire system technology (M365, Windows Server, setup and maintenance of Identity Management, maintenance of IT services and server services)
• You are involved in first-level support

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor in computer science, an EFZ in system technology, or a comparable training and at least 3 years of professional experience in platform development, system technology, or a similar ICT infrastructure
• You are familiar with Identity and Access Management, data analysis, O365 and Azure Cloud, Datawarehouse, quality and interface management
• You work independently, but are also a valuable team player by thinking ahead and contributing new ideas
• You have a high willingness to learn and permanently adapt your knowledge level to current developments
• You express yourself confidently in written and spoken German; English skills, especially in a technical environment, are an advantage
• You are prepared to work occasionally on Sundays when necessary tasks arise
