Ref. no.:  CH01357 Employment type:  Full-time Contract type:  Permanent contract WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FOR YOU In your role, you are responsible for the efficient alignment and further development of the entire manufacturing process and make a significant contribution to the sustainable growth of the company. Specifically, you will undertake the following tasks: • Overall responsibility for the operational management and continuous further development of manufacturing across all production areas • Implementation of the manufacturing strategy and the development of scalable structures to support company growth • Ensuring the achievement of targets regarding delivery reliability, quality, productivity, and costs based on relevant key figures • Planning and controlling capacities, investments, and production resources in close coordination with adjacent specialist departments • Introduction and further development of modern production and control systems as well as optimization of material and information flows • Establishment and sustainable anchoring of Operational Excellence methods as well as a culture of continuous improvement • Functional and disciplinary leadership as well as targeted further development of around 400 employees and the subsequent management levels • Ensuring compliance with all quality, occupational safety, and environmentally relevant requirements as well as supporting audits and improvement processes WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING • Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification; alternatively, further training as a technician or master (m/f/d) with corresponding leadership experience • Several years of professional experience in a management function within a manufacturing industrial company, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering • Sound knowledge in the area of Operational Excellence as well as in Lean Management methods and continuous improvement processes • Demonstrable experience in leading and developing large organizational units as well as multi-level management structures • Confident handling of ERP and MES systems as well as a strong understanding of modern production processes • Knowledge of relevant norms and standards in the areas of quality, occupational safety, and environmental management • Strong leadership and communication skills, high readiness for change, as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting • Structured and analytical way of working, high decision-making ability, as well as a strong hands-on mentality with presence on the shop floor • Business fluent German as well as good English skills in spoken and written form WHAT WE OFFER YOU • A dynamic working environment with exciting projects • Flexible working hours (flextime and trust-based working hours) • Very good social benefits and an above-mandatory pension fund • Employee benefits of a large corporation, employee stock purchase program • Promotion of demand-oriented further training • Staff restaurant as well as external catering and shopping opportunities nearby • Individual internal as well as external personnel development measures in cooperation with our Rheinmetall-Academy • Workplace a few minutes' walk from the Zürich-Oerlikon station We need your consent to load the YouTube service! ### In order to play YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube must be established.
