HR Manager 70-80%

The weekly newspaper WOZ is the largest independent supra-regional leftist newspaper in German-speaking Switzerland. The WOZ is a self-managed operation without supervisors and, in addition to around sixty permanent employees, has a large network of freelance contributors. To complement our team, we are looking for an HR Manager 70-80% immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks in human resources: • Personnel administration from entry to exit • Payroll and honorarium accounting • Participation in the creation of the personnel budget • Initiating and accompanying application processes • Further development of human resources and personnel processes As a member of the three-person HR management team, you also have the following tasks: • Initiation, coordination, and organization of personnel-relevant discussions and processes; organization and conducting of employee interviews • Internal contact person for all personnel-relevant issues • Accompanying and advising in conflict situations • Interface between the operation and external bodies You have a commercial education or practical operational experience in human resources. Further training as an HR specialist with a federal diploma is an advantage, as is experience working in a self-managed organization. You are a resilient personality with communication and social skills, are committed, proactive, and think entrepreneurially. You enjoy working in a team, take on responsibility, and complete your tasks independently and reliably. You are curious and ready to pitch in throughout the entire publishing house.
