An established Swiss planning and consulting company for commercially used workspaces is looking for a technically and organizationally strong personality at the Zurich location to lead the construction project management in the area of renovation and refurbishment.

The company accompanies organizations in the development and implementation of work environments: from strategic space and real estate consulting to office and interior design planning, up to construction project, moving, and change management. Projects typically include office renovations in existing buildings, tenant fit-outs, refurbishments of workspaces, fit-outs, as well as coordinated handover to operations and moving.

Your tasks

• Technical leadership and control of renovation and refurbishment projects in commercial workspaces
• Overall responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and communication towards the clients
• Accompanying the preliminary study and variants, participation in concept and project planning
• Tendering, comparison of offers, awarding, and contract management with planners and contractors
• Coordination of architects, interior design, specialist planners, contractors, and user representation
• Construction management and execution control until acceptance, defect and warranty processing
• Interface to interior design planning, moving management, and change support
• Leadership and further development of the project-related cooperation in the Zurich team
• Reporting to clients and internal management

Your profile

• Completed education as an Architect FH/ETH, Interior Designer, Civil Engineer, Technician HF Building Construction / Construction Planning, or Federal Diploma Construction Manager
• Several years of experience in leading renovation and refurbishment projects in Switzerland, ideally office, commercial, or fit-out
• Confident mastery of the SIA phases, especially 3 - 5, including tendering and on-site execution
• Leadership experience or proven management competence towards planners and contractors
• Consulting strength towards demanding corporate clients
• Very good German skills, English is an advantage
• Workload 100 %, start date by agreement
