The Amt für Gesundheit ensures high-quality and economically sustainable healthcare in the Canton of Zürich. It ensures seamless medical treatment and care and promotes the health of the Zürich population.

The Abteilung Versorgungsplanung plans and manages healthcare in the canton. To this end, it purchases services according to need, monitors their provision, and promotes the quality of treatment.

As maternity leave replacement, we are looking for a research associate, 80-100%, starting 1 January 2027 and fixed-term until 31 July 2027.

Tasks

Within the framework of the replacement, you will process topics related to coordinated and outpatient primary care, particularly in the areas of general practitioner medicine and the promotion of young talent. Your tasks include answering inquiries and political motions and preparing decision-making bases in the form of target-group-oriented file notes or presentations. You will work closely with various subject matter experts from the Amt as well as from external organizations in day-to-day business and in projects. You will also participate in working group meetings and organize them if necessary, including substantive preparation and follow-up.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, and reliable personality with a Master's degree in health sciences, Public Health, health economics, biomedicine, political science, or a related field. You are well acquainted with the Swiss healthcare system. Your oral and written expression in German is excellent. In addition, you have a quick grasp of things, think in networks, and can approach complex issues in a structured and goal-oriented manner. An affinity for data is a plus. You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics and tasks and are happy to take on responsibility. Challenges motivate you. As a person, you are easy-going and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team.
