The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counseling. Children, young people and families are at the center of our work. We advocate for them every day with great passion and commitment.

The kjz (Child and Youth Welfare Center) is a polyvalent counseling center for families, parents, young people, children and toddlers and works on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zürich. Would you like to be part of a team that is committed to the well-being of children and young people? Then join us as a commercial clerk at kjz Meilen as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Your tasks: ###

• telephone and personal contact with clients
• reception of clients
• administrative case management in the client systems
• occasional support for social workers with business matters
• opening and revising accountability reports
• correspondence and minute-taking
• general secretarial work and first-level IT support for employees

You bring with you: ###

• completed 3-year commercial basic training (KV EFZ)
• several years of professional experience in customer reception and understanding in dealing with people in difficult situations
• excellent oral and written German skills
• good PC user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• reliable, independent and very exact way of working
• confident appearance and good manners
• enjoyment of contact with people and a lively operation
• training as a vocational trainer for KV apprentices or willingness to complete this
