Payroll Specialist

For our client, an established company with various operations in Switzerland, we are looking for a reliable and professionally experienced personality as a Payroll Specialist to strengthen the team. In this role, you will be responsible for your own payroll area and ensure correct and timely processing of payroll processes. Payroll Specialist ### #### Tasks & Challenges • Independent support and execution of the monthly payroll for the assigned employee area • Responsibility for the correct recording and updating of relevant personnel data during the entire period of employment • Professional support with questions regarding time recording, working hours and absences • Processing of accident and illness cases as well as monitoring the corresponding insurance and daily allowance benefits • Processing of social security topics such as EO, IV and family allowances • Creation of various certificates and payroll-relevant documents • Competent processing of inquiries and written correspondence in connection with payroll and personnel topics • Participation in the improvement of existing processes and in the further development of the payroll processes • Support with special payroll processing with occasional assignments outside of regular working hours Qualifications & Competencies • At least five years of professional experience in Swiss payroll • Good knowledge of payroll and social security systems • Further training in the field of social insurance • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel • User knowledge in common payroll and/or HR systems • Independent and responsible personality with high reliability and strong service and customer orientation • Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working • Enjoyment in taking on responsibility and actively supporting changes • Very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage Opportunities & Perspectives You will take on a versatile area of responsibility with scope for design and can specifically contribute your payroll and social insurance expertise.
