Job Description ##

The ideal training for skilled tinkerers with a passion for technology and natural sciences!

With a team of scientists, you will work on groundbreaking research projects and contribute to shaping the future. With logical understanding, you will dive into the world of physico-technical subjects and, in collaboration with international colleagues, realize your brilliant ideas:

• Conventional material processing
• Realization of CAD constructions
• Development and understanding of electronic circuits and manufacturing of printed circuit board (PCB) designs
• Realization of measurements of physical quantities such as temperature, pressure, voltage and force
• Collection and analysis of data and measurement series
• Manufacture and assembly of prototypes
• Programming
• Photography

The training lasts 4 years and takes place mainly on the Hönggerberg campus of ETH. During the training, you will change your place of assignment according to a rotation principle and thus discover ETH from different angles. You will get an insight into different research groups with various technical specialties (vacuum technology, micro- and nanotechnology, optics, construction, electronics and other exciting fields).

For this professional training, you must have a compulsory school diploma and good grades in the following subjects:

• Natural sciences
• Mathematics
• German
• English
