System Engineer Netzwerk The Network Services unit, located in IT infrastructure, is responsible for the networks and network security components as well as central infrastructure services. It holds the strategic responsibility in these areas for the evaluation, conception, and implementation of new technologies and operates these systems. Your contribution: * Operation and further development of our network and network security components; * Developing and operating technical processes for the automation and orchestration of tasks in our environment; * Main responsibility for individual specialist areas after a thorough induction phase; * Ensuring the availability of our environment as part of the 3rd-level on-call service after careful induction. Your profile * Knowledge and experience with infrastructure and network products (Cisco, Extreme Networks, Fortinet), as they are typically operated in medium and large corporate networks; * Experience with orchestration tools, preferably with Ansible and a system-oriented programming language, ideally with Python; * Knowledge of network services (DHCP, DNS, Loadbalancing, Proxy); * Team-oriented, systematic, curious, resilient, as well as the willingness for personal further training and induction into new specialist areas; * Good oral and written German and English skills, French an advantage.
