Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office levies taxes for the Confederation, the Canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. For this purpose, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. With the project -Gemeinsame IT 2032-, the cantonal tax office is creating a modern and uniform IT landscape for the tax system of the Canton and the 160 municipalities. This requires extraordinary minds for the conception and implementation of these important IT transformations. As an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT architecture, you will take on tasks with sustainable importance for the Canton of Zürich in this newly created position. Our services support over 2-500 municipal and cantonal employees daily, as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually with their tax declarations. Your tasks • In this key position, together with the Business Architect, you are responsible for the enterprise-wide architecture of the tax office and ensure the alignment of Business and IT. • In addition to your activities in the project -Gemeinsame IT 2032-, you will take over the conception and implementation of the IT architecture for the currently around 90 specialist applications that are operated in various data centers. • You will shape our architecture processes, develop concrete target architectures, and ensure the long-term continuity of the architecture. • You will convey architecture topics to your colleagues in a methodical and practical manner. • You will communicate with a wide variety of departments within the tax office and on various levels up to the management board. Your profile • You have several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT; ideally using the TOGAF® framework. • You hold a university degree in the field of computer science, leadership, business administration, or comparable. • You know how to transform complex issues into practical solutions in a structured and systematic manner. • Your initiative, service orientation, and proficient German skills in speaking and writing round off your profile.
