What you can move

• Development and implementation of test strategies, test concepts and test plans for electronic devices, including for tactical communication
• Creation and maintenance of automated test environments and test software
• Industrialization of internally developed prototypes
• Error analysis in prototypes and development of corresponding solution approaches
• Manage obsolescence in series products: check component availability, find replacement solutions and monitor implementation
• Collaboration with production for the continuous improvement of product quality of existing and new systems

What you bring with you

• Completed FH/ETH degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Sound knowledge in hardware development. Ideally in the area of digital communication, design-for-test and design-for-manufacturing
• Several years of experience with test automation, measurement technology and test software (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++)
• Systematic error analysis and troubleshooting at component and system level
• Rapid grasp of the architecture and functionality of devices and systems as well as working with data
• Knowledge in the areas of circuit technology, signal processing and test systems
• Hands-on mentality, pragmatic and result-oriented, with very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with an independent, structured and proactive way of working

About the area

We are the department for hardware product development and develop modern communication devices and systems. Our work begins with the analysis and specification of customer requirements as well as the creation of initial concepts. On this basis, we develop prototypes, undertake their assembly and carry out comprehensive commissioning tests. Our goal is to turn an idea into a series-ready product – from the first sketch to the successful introduction into series production. We are an interdisciplinary team with diverse skills, united by enthusiasm for technology and enjoyment of challenges.
