We are looking for a Specialist Accounting & Controlling (80 - 100 %), temporary, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Specialist Accounting & Controlling

Tasks

In this versatile role, you will take responsibility for central tasks in accounting and support the further development of our controlling. You will work closely with the Team Lead Accounting & Controlling and make a significant contribution to ensuring the financial transparency and quality of our processes.

Accounting

• Responsibility for accounts receivable, including processing of incoming payments, accounts receivable balances, dunning management and debt collection management
• Preparation and control of invoicing as well as processing of master and interface data
• Collaboration on monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (Abacus and SAP)
• Preparation of invoices, payment orders and payment notifications
• Support in expense management
• Deputy for colleagues within the finance team

Controlling & Reporting

• Preparation of reportings, evaluations and financial key figures
• Analysis of material costs, cost centers and operating expenses
• Support in budget, forecast and planning processes
• Execution of cost and revenue analyses
• Preparation of decision-making bases for the Team Lead and the management

Processes & Further Development

• Collaboration in the optimization and digitalization of financial processes
• Creation and maintenance of process and QM documentation
• Support in cross-departmental projects
• Advising internal stakeholders on finance-relevant issues
• Participation in ensuring compliance, accounting and internal guidelines

Profile

• Commercial basic training with further training in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
• Several years of broad experience in finance and accounting
• Experience in controlling, reporting and data analysis
• Very good Excel skills for the evaluation and analysis of large amounts of data
• Experience with SAP, Abacus or comparable ERP systems
• Independent, communicative and service-oriented personality
• Very good German skills, English skills an advantage
