The Kantonspolizei Zürich, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. On behalf of the Konferenz der Kantonalen Polizeikommandantinnen und -kommandanten (KKPKS), the Kantonspolizei Zürich operationalizes parts of the intercantonal Police Command Staff (FSTP). The FSTP office forms the focal point of this cross-organizational militia body. For the further development and operation of the organization, we are looking for a Clerk Police Command Staff (FSTP) 100% # Tasks ### • Development of operational concepts and decision-making bases, processing and preparation of IKAPOL requests. • Participation in operational deployments of the FSTP as a specialist. • Further development of guidelines, creation of basic documents, deployment orders, and provision of support services. • Procurement, analysis, and dissemination of police information regarding security-relevant events, phenomena, or occurrences. • Maintaining contact with partner organizations of the police situation network at the federal, cantonal, and municipal levels. • Communication with various stakeholders in all parts of Switzerland. • Ensuring the accessibility of the office, managing various information channels, master data maintenance, and administration of specialist applications. Profile ### • Completed training as a police officer (BP) with several years of professional experience and/or a completed Bachelor's degree (FH/University/ETH, e.g., engineering, business administration, political science) or equivalent experience. • Flawless reputation. • Very good knowledge of at least two official languages and English. • Experience in staff work and knowledge of operational deployment planning. • Very good editorial and analytical skills, networked thinking, strong interest in security policy issues. • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a solution-oriented way of working. • Resilient personality with high social competence and a strong sense of responsibility. • Excellent team and communication skills, assertiveness, and good presentation skills. • Willingness to face new professional challenges, readiness to move out of the professional comfort zone, as well as a proactive "doer" quality.
