For our client, an established and independent company in the insurance environment based in Zürich, we are searching on an exclusive mandate for an experienced personality (m/f/d) who wants to take on professional responsibility and actively help shape the finance department. Senior Accountant / Financial Reporting (80–100%)

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for financial accounting including subsidiary ledgers
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensuring financial reporting according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Creation and further development of financial and regulatory reporting
• Support of the CFO with budgeting, forecasts, and analyses
• Optimization and further development of closing and financial processes
• Collaboration on digitalization and automation projects

What you bring with you:

• Sound experience in accounting, financial reporting, or in auditing
• Further education in finance and accounting, auditing, or comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of financial reporting according to OR; Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Experience in an insurance, financial services, or other regulated environment is a plus
• Proficiency in closing processes and enjoyment of a versatile field of activity
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working
• Good ERP and Excel skills
