We are looking for reinforcement as of 01.10.2026 or by arrangement.

As an after-school care manager / childcare specialist, you will work 2 days per week (Thursday, Friday).
You are part of a team consisting of childcare specialists and after-school care managers, and you will be supported in the catering area as well as in childcare by school assistants. You will take your holidays during the school holidays. Precise details regarding working hours can be discussed during a personal interview with the childcare management.

Tasks ##

• Care of the children during lunchtime and in the various leisure activities in the afternoon
• Promotion and support of the children in their development process and their social skills
• Leading child groups, as well as parental contact
• Administrative and housekeeping tasks
• Intensive cooperation with teachers (regular exchange, joint events, participation in the class council, etc.)
• Cooperation in the holiday care and on school-free days

Profile ##

• A completed degree in Social Work/Social Pedagogy (FH / HF) or a completed apprenticeship as a Childcare Specialist EFZ (a Swiss equivalence certificate must be attached to all foreign diplomas and professional certificates)
• Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, nursery, residential home)
• Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary school team

About us ##

Schule Bläsi is located in the old village center of Zürich-Höngg. In Schule Bläsi, around 180 children are taught in two kindergartens and six primary classes. Currently, we offer about 160 places in childcare. The two after-school care centers are located in the school building. Our orientation includes the pedagogical approach of "New Authority". As of school year 26/27, we have become an all-day school.
