Team Leader Legal Services, 80-100 %

Liegenschaften Stadt Zürich manages an extensive real estate portfolio and operates daily at the interface of law, politics, and urban development. The Legal Services department is a central point of contact in this regard.
As a team leader, you bring an interest in socio-political issues, take on technical and personnel responsibility for a team that you will help shape, and actively participate in the development of the Legal Services department. Start of position as of 1 March 2027.

Tasks ##

• Organizational, personnel, and technical leadership of the Legal Services team with 2 employees
• Legal advice and support to the executive management and specialist departments on legal issues with a focus on public law, administrative procedures, as well as information and data protection law
• Representation in complaint and legal remedy proceedings
• Coordination of parliamentary motions
• Consultations as well as participation in legislative projects
• Performance and coordination of the IDG/DSG officer function

Profile ##

• MLaw or lic. iur. from a Swiss university, attorney admitted to the bar desirable
• Sound professional experience in public law and administrative procedures from administration or the private sector, knowledge of data protection law is an advantage
• Leadership experience in a comparable position
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident writing skills
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Initiative, enthusiasm, socio-political interest
