Social Pedagogue / Childcare Specialist EFZ (m/f/d | 90%)

The Inselhof is a competence center for children, mothers and stressed families with complementary (semi-)residential and outpatient services for different needs.

The Kinderhaus comprises four residential groups for eight children each, aged 0-9 years, who have been placed due to a measure by the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB). The internal playgroup, the pre-kindergarten, psychotherapy and the painting studio complete the offer.

What you bring with you: ###

• Recognized degree in Social Pedagogy HF/FH or Social Work FH or degree as Childcare Specialist EFZ with several years of professional experience
• Knowledge of child protection, or willingness to acquire it
• Preferably experience in the residential sector with infants and toddlers
• Interest and passion for working with complex family systems and motivation to support children in their development using trauma-sensitive approaches
• Humor and composure, which you do not lose even in demanding situations, as well as motivation to develop professionally and personally
• Enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation

Your tasks: ###

• Co-shaping and organization of daily group life
• Coordinated cooperation in the team and with psychotherapists, parents and external systems (e.g., kindergarten, school, legal guardians, KESB)
• Infant and toddler care
• Participation in group and cross-group camps
• Participation in team meetings, supervisions and trauma-pedagogical intervisions
• Weekend services, irregular working hours between 7:00 and 21:00 as well as three to four night shifts (on-call on site) per month
• Household and administrative activities
