Senior Specialist Purchasing (w/m/d) In this role, you will contribute to the further development of the purchasing department of Migros Industrie. As a management member and process owner, you will operate at the interfaces of strategic and operational purchasing. With your pragmatic approach, you ensure that purchasing processes are not only well thought out but also effectively implemented and lived - across all business units and end-to-end. What you drive You help Category Managers to sustainably set up complex sourcing events in SAP Ariba and support demanding tenders. As a process owner, you take end-to-end responsibility for defined purchasing processes (S2C & P2P) and develop them further across segments. You analyze and optimize existing processes with a focus on efficiency, digitalization, and pragmatic implementation. You ensure data quality as well as the further development of analysis and commodity group structures (e.g., via Sievo, PowerBI). You work closely with process managers from the segments and stakeholders, prioritize optimization measures, and ensure their implementation. You develop training materials, conduct training sessions, and sustainably empower purchasing in dealing with processes and systems. You represent topics in relevant committees and actively participate in projects and initiatives in purchasing (e.g., systems, digitalization, efficiency programs). You are a sparring partner for your colleagues and use your many years of purchasing experience to proactively suggest improvements. What you bring Education: Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF) Field of study: Studies in the field of business administration / Supply Chain or a comparable education with relevant experience in purchasing Professional experience: Several years of experience (5+ years) in purchasing - profound understanding of Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, category management, contract management, procurement analyses, and digital procurement platforms Very good knowledge of SAP Knowledge in handling digital, analytical, and AI-supported procurement solutions (e.g., SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, Sievo, GenAI Sourcing Assistants) Experience in project and change management Strong analytical skills and a good sense for data and connections Strong understanding of stakeholder management in complex organizations German (B2) English (ADVANTAGEOUS) What we offer you Central workplace: At Limmatstrasse 152, directly at Limmatplatz Modern infrastructure: Own hardware, modern office equipment, height-adjustable desks, curved monitors Flexible working hours: Flexitime, 41-hour week, 5 to 7 weeks of vacation per year.
