Hospital School of the Psychosomatic-Psychiatric Therapy Station

Your tasks

• You teach and support children and adolescents hospitalized in an inpatient setting during their approximately three-month stay in the Psychosomatic-Psychiatric Therapy Station according to the mission statement of the hospital school as well as the individual needs of the students.
• You are a reference teacher and work closely with the relatives of the children and adolescents, the original schools, and the interprofessional treatment team (medicine, psychology, nursing, therapies).
• As part of a small school team, you support and represent your colleagues professionally as well as during absences and actively contribute to the further development of the hospital school.

Your profile

• EDK recognized teaching diploma (all levels)
• relevant teaching experience at secondary level and/or in a cross-level setting
• knowledge of the special education sector is an advantage, ideally paired with a degree in School Special Education
• professional as well as personal flexibility in the design of the working or school everyday life

Your salary ##

The exact salary level depends on your education and professional experience and is oriented towards the specifications of the Volksschulamt of the Canton of Zürich.
