Social Worker Intake, 60 %

For the 5 Intakes of the Stadt Zürich, we are looking for reinforcement as of 01. November 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You will provide time-limited assignments as a substitute for social workers or for general relief in the 5 Intakes of the Stadt Zürich.
• You will comprehensively clarify concerns within the framework of economic and personal social assistance for clients.
• You offer short-term financial support with the goal of professional and social integration.
• You are responsible for triage, networking and coordination, and you initiate immediate measures in the areas of social assistance and crisis intervention.
• You work together with profile teams, specialist offices, authorities and social insurance providers.
• You will be administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist offices and work closely with your colleagues in the team.

Profile ##

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work (with specialization in Social Work) or in the final phase of studies
• Commercial flair and good knowledge of financial topics
• Joy in working with people and good handling of conflicting expectations
• Rapid perception of complex situations and ability to perform very good work both qualitatively and quantitatively even under pressure
• High interest in exchanging ideas within the team, sharing knowledge and experience, and efficient cooperation with colleagues as well as with other offices and authorities
