Legal Counsel Bodily Injury (m/f/d)

Are you motivated by challenging legal assessments and the independent management of complex bodily injury cases? Do you want to use your expertise in liability and insurance law to develop fair and sustainable solutions together with different stakeholder groups?

In this role, you will strengthen the Claims business unit in the Motor Vehicle Claims area at Zurich Schweiz and be part of the Bodily Injury team. You are responsible for the holistic processing of complex bodily injury cases with a focus on motor vehicle liability and assess demanding issues regarding coverage, liability, and amount of damage. In doing so, you conduct negotiations with the insured, injured persons, legal representatives, and other insurance companies and coordinate your cases with the relevant internal and external partners.

• You manage complex bodily injury cases holistically and assess facts regarding coverage, liability, and amount of damage
• You examine and evaluate claims and develop sustainable solutions based on your legal and technical assessment
• You conduct demanding negotiations with the insured, injured persons, legal representatives, and insurance companies
• You coordinate your cases with social and private insurers as well as other internal and external specialist departments
• You assess recourse possibilities and ensure their consistent processing and enforcement

What distinguishes you

• You have an attorney admission (Rechtsanwaltspatent) or a university degree in law from a Swiss university.
• You bring sound knowledge of liability and insurance law as well as relevant experience in processing personal injury cases.
• You analyze complex facts in a structured manner and possess strong legal judgment.
• You communicate convincingly and appreciatively and conduct solution-oriented negotiations even in demanding situations.
• You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
