IT System Engineer (m/f/d) 80%-100%

Your role

As an IT System Engineer, you are responsible for the smooth IT operation of Infogate AG and support our customers and internal teams as a central technical contact person.

Your main tasks

• Internal 1st and 2nd Level Support for all employees – you are the direct, uncomplicated contact person for IT questions
• Responsibility for a stable, high-performance and secure IT operation of our entire infrastructure
• Cooperation with our IT partners and the Volaris IT organization
• Installation, migration and troubleshooting of our products (Tutoris, e-Case) at our customers
• Processing of technical customer inquiries and support with configuration and commissioning
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Evaluation and support of the introduction of new tools
• Perspective to take over DevOps tasks such as build server, code signing, version control and automation
• Perspective to monitor and implement security topics – you keep our systems secure and up to date

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training as an Informatiker EFZ in the specialization of system engineering/platform development or a comparable degree
• Solid professional experience in IT system engineering or IT support and in the support of customer installations, ideally in an SME environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and network basics
• Knowledge in the area of IT security, basic knowledge in SQL and experience with DevOps topics (CI/CD, scripting, build server, version control) are a plus
• Solution-oriented, communicative and proactive personality with a willingness to learn and develop – in particular the motivation to develop yourself towards DevOps, cloud and security
• Very good German skills and good English skills in speaking and writing
