This is the job - Your main tasks

• Advisory support for our customers in the manufacturing industry and consumer goods sector in strategic and operational issues
• Responsibility for the management and control of demanding transformation projects in the environment of Digital Manufacturing, Industrie 4.0 and smart operations - from strategic alignment to sustainable implementation
• Development and implementation of IT strategies, operating models and transformations of IT departments
• Conception and control of effective solutions in subject areas such as Smart Factory, MES/MOM, IoT, Industrial Data Platforms, AI-based use cases as well as IT/OT-close transformation initiatives
• Development of strategic target images and architecture roadmaps along the entire manufacturing value chain
• Identification and use of new business potentials through innovative technologies and data-driven solutions

This job is for you if

• you bring several years of experience in management consulting or in a comparable role with high responsibility for results in an industrial environment.
• you have project experience in one or more of the following subject areas: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Smart Factory, Robotics, Physical AI, Shopfloor Solution Architecture, Digital SCM, Project Management, Data Platforms, ERP, IT/OT-Integration, IIoT or Production Optimization.
• you bring resilient expertise in the digitalization of manufacturing and operations functions and can reliably classify their added value for business, technology and organization.
• you bring experience in relevant subject areas such as Smart Factory, MES/MOM, IoT, ERP, IT/OT-Integration, Industrial Data Platforms or AI in an industrial context.
• you have experience in the construction or integration of PLM, CAD or MES solutions in the shopfloor-close environment.
• you deal confidently with senior stakeholders, communicate resiliently at management level and also move confidently in demanding customer situations.
• you bring fluent German and English skills and very good communicative skills round off your profile.
