Die Finanzverwaltung manages the finances of the Canton of Zürich and enables an overall overview. On behalf of the Government Council, it prepares the budget with financial planning and the accounts of the Canton. It prepares financial decisions of the Government Council, ensures efficient accounting, and provides corresponding services for the entire administration.

The Department of Cantonal Accounting establishes the specifications for uniform accounting across the canton based on IPSAS, develops the consolidated accounts as well as the financial statistics of the Canton. The specialist department "Application Responsibility Financial Systems" ensures efficient accounting in the cantonal SAP environment.

To exercise the functional application responsibility (Business Owner) of the cantonal SAP module PSCD, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality who designs processes and securely connects different stakeholders.

Your tasks: ###

• Functional application responsibility (Business Owner) for SAP PSCD as well as its continuous further development
• Definition of the use of SAP PSCD in the overall cantonal business processes
• Support and optimization of the canton-wide business processes in the area of contract accounts receivable ledger as well as development of specifications in the authorization system
• Organization and leadership of a structured exchange with the users, incl. pending tasks list and prioritization of upgrades, changes and further developments as well as ensuring the know-how transfer within the cantonal administration
• Situational representation of concerns in the Change Advisory Board
• Organization and execution of tests for new developments
• Leadership or participation in interdisciplinary project teams in connection with SAP PSCD and other projects of the Cantonal Accounting
• Leadership of a cantonal specialist group
• Participation in the annual financial statements of the Canton of Zürich and the preparation of the consolidated accounts

Your profile: ###

• Higher education in the field of business informatics or business administration, as well as several years of relevant professional experience in these areas
• Sound know-how in accounting as well as in-depth specialist knowledge with SAP PSCD
• Interest in public finances and in the further development of processes and applications
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as enjoyment of working with different stakeholders
• Open to changes and new substantive challenges
• Knowledge of the project method HERMES is an advantage
