Civil Engineer Earthquake Safety and Preservation of Structures

You develop solutions and strategies for earthquake safety and the preservation of structures and create static as well as dynamic calculations.

Tasks

• Development of solutions and strategies for the preservation of structures, earthquake safety and structural dynamics
• Creation of static and dynamic calculations using modern calculation methods and programs
• Advising property owners on structural risks such as earthquakes and fire
• Implementation of inventory procedures for structural risks
• Collaboration on checking engineer, second opinion, and quality assurance mandates
• Project planning of new buildings and conversions/repairs in building and bridge construction

Profile

• University or university of applied sciences degree as a civil engineer, Master's degree
• Knowledge in structural statics/construction, earthquake safety and/or structural dynamics
• First years of professional experience is an advantage
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
