School Assistant Schule Himmeri Staudenbühl, 40-55 %

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a school assistant in instruction at Schule Himmeri Staudenbühl as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement

Tasks ##

• Accompanying and providing simple guidance to classes and/or individual students in everyday school life
• Helping to shape positive social and learning-promoting relationships with and between the students
• Simple administrative and organizational tasks at the class level (e.g., absence lists)
• Maintenance, tidying up, and preparation of materials (e.g., teaching aids etc.)
• You perform the workload of 55% on 5 days per week as follows: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 12:00 and Monday, Tuesday and Friday 13 - 15. No assignments are planned during school holidays. From 1 August 2027, the workload can be continued with at least 40%.

Profile ##

• Very good German skills (at least level C1) and basic PC user skills (e.g. Word, Outlook)
• Experience in dealing with children and adolescents, patience and resilience
• Good communication skills, openness to new and surprising situations, confident appearance
• Good social skills, ability to work in a team and flexibility
• Confidentiality and discretion towards the outside as well as willingness to undergo further training in pedagogical topics

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The Tagesschule Himmeri has been run at two locations in the Zürich-Seebach district since August 2019. The Himmeri - Staudenbühl location includes 5 primary classes, 2 intake classes, a large childcare center (Hort) as well as a kindergarten.
