In this cross-functional role, as a member of the specialist team, you are directly at the heart of all developments in accounting, particularly for banks and insurance companies, and you actively contribute to them. ###

Main tasks

• Management of accounting issues (notably concerning the FINMA accounting ordinance / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Comptabilité - Banques" and the Code of Obligations)
• Internal advisory, training and support of supervision for complex issues
• Analysis of annual financial statements (individual and consolidated accounts) to support prudential supervision
• Revision of existing regulations as well as the development of new regulations
• On-site inspections and point of contact for requests from supervised entities and stakeholders
• Monitoring and influencing national and international developments

Profile

• University degree or university of applied sciences degree in economics or finance or comparable higher professional training, for example, certified public accountant
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in the field of banking accounting (FINMA accounting ordinance / FINMA-RS 20/1 "Comptabilité - Banques")
• Ability to autonomously understand, structure and evaluate complex contexts, even under pressure
• Solution-oriented work approach, ability to persuade, team spirit as well as good writing skills
• Very good knowledge of German or French (C2) with good knowledge of the other language as well as good knowledge of English
