Does the thought of handling demanding legal issues surrounding occupational and private pension schemes and thereby especially supporting our French-speaking customers motivate you? Would you like to contribute your legal expertise to an experienced specialist team and develop yourself long-term in pension and insurance law?

In this role, you will strengthen the Claims business unit in the area of Life Benefits, Life Legal Services at Zurich Schweiz, and make an important contribution to our collective success. As part of a well-coordinated team of lawyers, you will independently process legal issues and cases from occupational pension schemes, Pillar 3a, and life insurance, with a particular focus on French-speaking Switzerland, and conduct court proceedings. At the same time, you will support our Claims teams as well as other specialist departments with your legal expertise and contribute to projects and the further development of our pension topics. Presentation activities at training sessions and customer events round off the challenging and versatile activity.

What awaits you

• You independently process demanding legal cases in occupational and private pension schemes, especially in French
• You conduct court proceedings and represent the interests of Zurich in legal disputes
• You advise Claims teams and other specialist departments on legal issues surrounding group life, individual life, and pension
• You work in cross-functional projects and contribute the legal perspective to the development of solutions and processes
• You work together with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, sales, legal representatives, contractual partners, and authorities

What distinguishes you

• University degree in law (Master of Law or lic. iur.) from a Swiss university, preferably with a lawyer's patent
• Very good French skills as well as good German skills in speaking and writing
• Strong interest in occupational and private pension schemes as well as in insurance and tax law issues
• Ability to independently analyze complex legal facts and develop understandable, practice-oriented solutions
• Convincing communication and negotiation skills as well as a structured and responsible way of working
