As Business Architect Life, you will design the functional target architecture of a central business division of Zurich Switzerland and create the foundation for sustainable transformations.

You combine strategy, business design, and implementation and ensure that organization, processes, and capabilities are aligned with a common target image. In doing so, you work with a wide variety of stakeholders at the business division level and decisively shape the further development of the Life business.

What you do

• You derive the business architecture from the Life strategy and develop target images, capability maps, as well as roadmaps for implementation.
• You analyze and optimize the operating model and create the foundation for sustainable changes in the Life business.
• You design value streams and target process landscapes for central domains such as New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claims, and In-Force Management.
• You accompany cross-divisional transformation initiatives and ensure the connection between business, architecture, and delivery.
• You support strategic decisions, business cases, and prioritizations, taking regulatory and financial requirements into account.

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior Business Analyst
• Sound know-how in the Life, pension, or insurance environment
• Experience in business analysis, operating model design, capability mapping, and process design
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as Solvency II and IFRS 17
• Strong analytical skills as well as convincing communication and moderation skills in German and English
