To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist in care (Fachperson Betreuung) starting immediately or by arrangement, fixed-term until 23.04.2027 (option for extension).

Tasks ##

• You support the care teams as a specialist in care in everyday life and keep a cool head even in challenging situations. The team is led by a care facility manager.
• You perform the workload of 62% on 5 days per week, each from 11.30h to 17.30h and work in a team of 4.
• In the catering area and in care, you will be supported by three care assistants.
• In addition to working in the home care facility, you will hold a substitute function during absences in the care team.

Profile ##

• Degree as EFZ Fachperson Betreuung, dipl. KleinkinderzieherIn, SozialagogIn EFZ (for applications with a foreign diploma / professional certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached)
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Enjoyment in dealing with people of different cultures and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team
• Willingness to take on a substitute function
• Professional experience in family-supplementary care is an advantage

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus face the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The City of Zurich is divided into 7 school districts. The Zürich-Glattal school district includes the districts of Affoltern, Seebach and Oerlikon and counts around 6500 school-aged children. Since the year 2002, all our 18 schools have been managed. All care facilities are assigned to a school unit. The care facilities that belong to a school unit are led by a care management.

The Lunch / Evening Care Kolbenacker C belongs to Schule Kolbenacker in Zürich Seebach. In this care facility, up to 50 students from kindergarten to lower primary school age are fed and cared for daily. The children's care facility is open from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00.
